Pastor Moses B. Herring, Sr.
Founding and Senior Pastor
Moses B. Herring, Sr. is the Chief Visionary of Faith Movers Nation, which includes Faith Movers Church (FMC), Faith Movers Academy (FMA), and Moses B. Herring, Sr. Ministries (MBH). In June 2011, he and his wife launched out on faith and began FMC in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. It was the goal and vision of Pastor Moses to create a church that was biblically-based, Christ-centered, outreach-driven, and Kingdom- focused. Under his dynamic leadership, FMC now has a current membership that exceeds 2,500 members.
Pastor Moses is a creative thinker and innovative leader. He has a God-given anointing to preach and teach from a philosophical and theological platform that strengthens, encourages, and increases the faith of people across the nation. His intense, down-to-earth oratorical style stimulates people spiritually on all levels of life. Many just love his practical--yet compelling-- scriptural approach to bringing the Word of God.
During his educational journey, Pastor Moses received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Education from Beulah Heights University in Atlanta, Georgia graduating Cum Laude. He later went on to the prestigious Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma graduating with a Master of Divinity. During his academic pursuits, he was the recipient of many honors, accolades, and scholarships.
Although committed to education, ultimately, Pastor Moses credits his success in ministry to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Under Pastor Moses’ leadership, FMC was able to purchase a wonderful facility for the purpose of worship and outreach in just two years of existence. Additionally, the church has been honored by many different organizations for its outstanding service to the community. God is truly using the church as a tool to bless and impact the body of Christ.

When not preaching and leading, Pastor Herring enjoys spending time with his family especially his high school sweetheart and wife LaCresha Herring, and their four children, Hannah, Moses Jr., Zion and Faith Herring.
